ORP Long-Term Disability Insurance

All active full-time regular employees who are members of the Massachusetts Optional Retirement Program (ORP) and work 50 percent of full-time equivalency are eligible for Group Long-Term Disability Insurance from the Standard Insurance Company.

This benefit provides financial protection for eligible beneficiaries by promising to pay a percentage of monthly earnings in the event of a covered disability. The employer pays the entire cost of this coverage.
