Death of an Employee
In the event of an employee’s death, the employee’s manager should immediately notify the Benefits Department in the HR Service Center at (508) 856-5260, option 1. The Benefits Representative will coordinate with the family of the deceased and notify the various insurance carriers and appropriate UMass Chan departments.
