Recognizing that medicine is a highly complex and diversified field and that interests of medical students are quite varied, the OUME works closely with the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) to support and emphasize a strong elective program to complement required areas of study.

Medical Humanities Annotated Bibliography

This thematically organized, annotated collection of short stories, poems and essays from the perspectives of doctors, nurses, students, and patients was created by UMass students and faculty as a medical humanities resource to be used by faculty and students who are seeing patients, teaching or studying the featured topics:  Medical Humanities at your Finger Tips
