NIH Initiative for Maximizing Student Development funds UMMS program

The Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences has received a highly competitive
five-year grant to help bolster the success of underrepresented students in
science. The $1.6 million grant from the National Institute of General Medical
Sciences, awarded under the Initiative for Maximizing Student Development,
supports the UMMS commitment to increasing diversity in all areas of the
institution
.
