PII Symposiums

The Program in Innate Immunity sponsors an annual symposium on campus, where international leaders in the field present their latest research. 

The 2013/14 Symposium featured, Luke O’Neill, PhD, Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, Jules Hoffmann, PhD (Nobel Laureate), Molecular and Cellular Biology Institute, Strasbourg France, and Gary Ruvkun, PhD, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA. 

The 2014/15 Symposium featured Akiko Iwasaki, PhD, Yale University School of Medicine, Andrew Luster, MD, MGH, Boston and Kensuke Miyake, PhD,  University of Tokyo.

The 2015/16 Symposium featured Jonathan Kagan, PhD, Childrens Hospital Boston, Daniel Stetson,  PhD, University of Washington and Virginia Pascual M.D., co-Director of Baylor Institute for Immunology Research (BIIR) and Director of the Centers for Inflammation and Genomic Medicine at BIIR.
