International Experiences
Approval Process for Proposed International Experiences
All UMMS medical students considering international travel as a part of an approved experience must request approval from the International Medical Education Program (IMEP).
A key step in the process is submitting required information to IMEP at least 3 months in advance of proposed travel to a Partner Site, and at least 4 months in advance of proposed travel to any other site.
