Camarlin Franco

Camarlin Franco, BS, Clinical Research Assistant

Camarlin Franco joined the Neuro-critical care team in July of 2022 after completing a B.S in Biology at Worcester State University. As an undergrad Camarlin spent her time volunteering for the City of Worcester under the Commissioner of Health and Human Services. She supported the department in making the distribution of the COVID vaccine easily accessible to underrepresented communities. It was there that an enthusiasm for clinical research began. It was a way to help minority communities in Worcester receive that same standard of care.

She is elated to be a part of the NCC Research Lab at UMass and be a part of a team that strives to better the care and health of those affected by neurocritical conditions. She is the primary site coordinator for CHARM and assists in the development of the R21 decision aid.
