Its central location within New England makes it ideal for visits to nearby attractions, including a 90-minute drive southeast to Cape Cod, a 75-minute drive south to Newport Rhode Island, and a 45-minute drive east to Boston. Worcester is home of the Worcester Tornadoes for the baseball enthusiast, Worcester Sharks for the hockey fans, and Worcester boosts many college athletic teams with Holy Cross being a favorite for many.
