UMass Chan Compensation Philosophy of Total Rewards
The Total Rewards philosophy provides UMass Chan with the opportunity to provide both monetary and non-monetary rewards to employees.
Monetary rewards represent the financial elements of Total Rewards such as; base salary, merit pay, promotional increase, recognition award bonuses, additional compensation, shift differential and on-call pay.
Non-monetary rewards may include; medical benefits, dental coverage, vision coverage, life insurance, employee recognition program (“Spot Appreciation Gifts” and “Lunch on Us” awards), retirement, time off, tuition reimbursement, and employee discount plans.
