DENTAL INSURANCE

  • Dental insurance is offered with two options. Both options provide 100% coverage for preventive care.   Benefits levels are higher in the “Plus Plan.”  UMMS pays 100% of the premium for the “Basic Plan.”  Residents pay a share of the premium costs for the “Plus Plan.”  You must enroll as a new hire during your first 31 days of employment, otherwise, you may enroll during the open enrollment period held annually every April/May.  NOTE: Certain life change events (marriage, divorce, birth or adoption of child) may enable you to enroll other than as a new hire or during open enrollment.
