Addressing the educational needs of children in foster care

FaCES clinic staff and volunteers are available to work with caregivers to address the educational needs of children in foster placement. We can provide guidance and assistance in connecting with schools and community resources to address educational needs of children in foster care. This includes helping request and obtain a multidisciplinary team (MDT) evaluation, Individual Education Plan (IEP) or other services as appropriate.
