    Why UMMS?: I went to college in New England and wanted to come back to the area. UMass Medical School combines clinical volume with clinical diversity, and because we have few fellows we develop a high degree of autonomy early!

    Why UMMS?: My journey to UMass Medical School was a bit circuitous, but ultimately I was impressed by the clinical training residents receive here. Residents here are well prepared to do almost any case very early on in their training and only continue to grow throughout their remaining years. There is a great camaraderie between residents and faculty.

    Why UMMS?: My biggest motivation was the patient population and how it embraces diversity. It also gives you a small town feel with very close proximity to major cities, hiking trails, restaurants, etc.
