Welcome to the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. Our diverse faculty includes accomplished clinicians, physician-scientists, physician-educators, and basic scientists. Our clinical activities include patient-centered, team-based, diabetes care delivered at the Diabetes Center of Excellence at our main location in Worcester and our satellite locations at Health Alliance Hospital in Leominster and Tri-River Family Health Center in Uxbridge. We have an authorized thyroid center, metabolic weight loss center, a metabolic bone center, and general endocrine services within the division. A dedicated in-patient Blood Glucose Management Service and an Endocrinology Consult Service are also available to serve hospitalized patients.

The division partners with the research arm of the Diabetes Center of Excellence and the RNA Therapeutics Institute at UMass Chan Medical School. Our faculty participate in a wide range of clinical and basic research activities. We participate in the education of medical students, residents, fellows, and other post-graduate students. Faculty from our division hold leadership positions for various educational activities.
