The Center for Community Inclusion and Reflective Collaboration (The CIRC Center)

The Community Inclusion and Reflective Collaboration Center (CIRC Center) is a collaborative program between Transitions ACR at UMass Chan Medical School and the Temple University Collaborative at Temple University

This new nationwide rehabilitation research and training center will focus on advancing community living and participation outcomes for young adults from disadvantaged, marginalized, and vulnerable populations who have serious mental health conditions. Over the next five years, the CIRC Center's five research studies and three knowledge translation activities will:

  • Generate new knowledge regarding developmentally appropriate interventions to promote participation
  • Generate new knowledge about system and policy issues affecting community living and participation
  • Provide training, dissemination, and technical assistance to TAY (ages 14-26) and other key stakeholders
