Future plans: My interests include pediatric surgery, trauma and critical care, and minimally invasive surgery.

Why UMASS?: Having gone to medical school here, I was able to see first hand how well trained the residents are. There is a long track record of graduates going right into practice which really speaks to the quality of training here. 

Favorite thing to do in Worcester: Enjoy the outdoors and the local breweries.

Research Description: Jon is completing a 2 year Surgical Innovation fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital. The fellowship's aim is broad and includes work in digital health solutions, surgical device development, and novel surgical techniques
