In November, 2010, MA Wenlin, MD, PhD, visited UMass campus and met with some professors in our department. Dr. Ma is associate physician and associate professor in the Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine, Tongji University School of Medicine in Shanghai, China. She is interested in coronary artery heart disease patients with depression. She discussed with Drs. Doug Ziedonis, Lisa Mistler, Jeffrey Geller, Tony Rothschild, and Kristina Deligiannidis on questions about depression-related intervention. |

Oct. 23, 2009, the Department met with a delegation from Wuhan Tongji Hospital and Medical Center, Wuhan, China. Led by Dr. CHEN Anmin, president of Tongji Hospital, the delegation was here to explore possibilities of long-term collaborations with UMass Chan, such as exchange programs in resident training and faculty development. Other members of the delegation include Dr. WANG Wei, vice president; Dr. HU Junbo, HR director; Dr. LIAO Jiazhi, director of the President's Office; Mr. DU Guang, director of the Department of Pharmacy; Mrs. ZHOU Peiwen, director of the International Exchange Office. |
