Emergency Mental Health Services (EMHS)

Teen girlOur Emergency Mental Health Services are available 24-hours a day for all ages.  Emergency services are evaluative in nature and designed to create an accurate diagnosis, to provide brief intervention when appropriate, and to establish follow-up care either in the community or through an inpatient delivery system.

Services are provided at the UMass Memorial Medical Center Emergency Department on our University Campus, 55 Lake Avenue North, Worcester, Massachusetts  01655.   Evaluation teams, via Community HealthLink Youth Mobile Crisis Intervention, are also deployed to travel to other community sites, including schools, for emergency evaluations and intervention.
