Research
I am interested in understanding the roles of RNA modifications in RNA metabolism and cellular biology. My research focuses on unraveling the molecular mechanisms by which RNA modifications regulate gene expression. I have identified and characterized key RNA modifying enzymes, including PCIF1 and METTL5, which target mRNAs and rRNAs, respectively. Recently, my work has expanded to investigate diverse tRNA modification enzymes and their critical roles in health and disease.
