Labor Relations and Compliance
The Labor Relations team works closely with UMass Chan collective bargaining units, its employees and leaders on matters related to work conditions, compensation, benefits, rights, and responsibilities. Our team negotiates and administers collective bargaining agreements, resolves disputes, ensures compliance with labor laws, and addresses grievances or conflicts in the workplace. Our team works to foster a positive work environment, promoting fair treatment, and maintaining open lines of communication between UMass Chan and its collective bargaining units with the goal of mutually beneficial, respectful, and productive working relationships.
