The Division of General Internal Medicine is a leader in tertiary primary care and is comprised of 32 faculty members, including 23 physicians, 7 advanced practitioners, a clinical psychologist and licensed social workers. Our faculty is diverse with expertise in ambulatory care, as well as selected focuses on geriatrics, hospital care, transitions of care, urgent care, travel medicine, infectious disease, med-peds which helps with the transition of children to adult care. We also have embedded specialty clinics in Dermatology and Rheumatology to further extend the clinical services we provide to all of our patients in one location.  Most of our faculty are also involved with medical student and resident teaching, which has also helped our entire faculty stay abreast of the many advances in patient care, prevention and primary care innovations.
