Looking for something special in your career?

thinking of next move

Family Medicine, with a heavy dose of Community Health, is thriving in Central Massachusetts.  Under the umbrella of the UMass Memorial Health System, and serving as faculty of the UMass Chan Medical School, we are a large family of clinicians, educators and researchers devoted to Healthy people, families, and communities, with equal access to all.

Practice opportunities in Family Medicine include resident training sites, community-based Family Medicine offices, hospital outpatient Departments, Federally Qualified Community Health and Community Mental Health Centers, and more.   Clinical options include maternity care, integrated behavioral health, osteopathic care, sports medicine, hospital medicine, student health, integration of primary care into chronic mental health care settings, health care for the homeless, treatment of substance use disorder, etc.
We are particularly interested in recruiting faculty that reflect the diversity of the communities we serve.   We are based in Worcester, MA, the second largest city in New England with a population of 180,000.  A location rich in history and cultural diversity, Worcester has welcomed refugees and immigrants from over 24 countries in just the past five years.  It provides a myriad of social, educational, cultural, and recreational amenities making it a truly desirable area in which to practice and live.

We offer an attractive salary and comprehensive benefits package. An academic appointment is commensurate with education and experience.
