Assistant Professor of Dermatology: Laura Houk, MD

Dr. Laura Houk is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the UMass Chan Medical School (UMass Chan) in Worcester, MA and she is part of the Vitiligo Clinic and Research Center at UMass Chan.

Dr. Houk attended Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA She completed her Dermatology residency at Thomas Jefferson University Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Biology, where she also served as chief resident. Thereafter, Dr. Houk completed a fellowship in Dermatopathology, also at Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Houk practiced dermatology in the Boston area for six years prior to joining the faculty at the UMass Chan Medical School.  Dr. Houk’s clinical interests include vitiligo and alopecia, in addition to patient safety and medical informatics. She is board certified in Dermatology and Dermatopathology.
