Ari SalingerAri Salinger, a postdoctoral fellow from Thompson lab, received the Organic and Biomolecular Chemistry Poster Award by winning the 2019 Young Investigator Poster Presentation Competition at the 26th American Peptide Symposium.

His poster and presentation discussed various methods that the Thompson Lab is developing to unambiguously identify protein citrullination events in complex protein mixtures.

Ari’s work in the Thompson lab is funded by a Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award Postdoctoral Fellowship from the National Institutes of Health.  Ari is grateful for this fellowship, as it made it possible for him to attend the American Peptide Symposium and gain a great experience.
