Division of Cardiac Surgery

The Division of Cardiac Surgery is a dynamic consortium of caregivers which includes surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, residents in surgery, physician assistants, perfusion technologists and others dedicated to providing surgical care that is both at the cutting edge and patient- centered. We have extensive experience in valve repair and replacement, myocardial revascularization (CABG), arrhythmia surgery for atrial fibrillation, ventricular restoration for congestive heart failure, repair of acute and chronic thoracic aortic aneurysms and congenital heart disease in the adult. In addition, we offer both Extra Corporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) and mechanical Ventricular Assist Devices (VADs) for patients with acutely failing hearts and lungs.
