Nancy Byatt is the recipient of the Academy of Psychosomatic Medicine’s 2017 Don R. Lipsitt Award!

The Research and Evidence-Based Practice Committee of the Academy of Psychosomatic Medicine (APM) has chosen Nancy Byatt, a SPARC researcher, as the recipient of the 2017 Don R. Lipsitt Award for Achievement in Integrated and Collaborative Care. This prestigious award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated excellence and innovation in the integration of mental health with other medical care through collaborative care, as demonstrated by success in one or more of the following activities:
- Research and scholarship
- Clinical care
- Clinical systems development
- Education
- Health care policy
Nancy will give a workshop at the annual meeting in Palm Springs, CA, which is scheduled for Friday, November 10, 2017. The Awards Ceremony will be held later that evening.
