Adolescent Continuing Care Units

These two 15 bed therapeutic programs are designed to serve adolescents whose clinical condition requires psychiatric management, medical monitoring and continuing care. The child division of the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health (DMH) makes the majority of the referrals to these units along with the Massachusetts courts. Youth most often come to this program from acute psychiatric units and the courts make special referrals for forensic services.
