The Massachusetts Medical Society (MMS) annual 1-day conference on global health for medical students and residents

  • One major activity of the MMS Committee on Global Health is to plan and host the annual 1-day conference on global health for medical students and residents.
  • The conference typically is held on a Saturday in January or February, and previously has been held either at the MMS headquarters in Waltham, MA., or at Mass General Hospital in Boston.
  • Historically, the majority of the conference attendees are medical students, but the conference organizers enthusiastically welcome (and wish to include) all types of medical trainees (e.g., nursing & pharmacy students, graduate students in biomedical sciences, residents & fellows, etc.)
  • The cost of the conference is typically approximately $25.
