The links below provide information about the activities you need to complete during your first days in your new position. Some activities may be completed by your department staff. Contact your department Administrator if you have any questions.

Note: Some information is available on the UMMS Intranet or the UMass Memorial Intranet (OurNet) websites. You will need to activate your network account (see below) to log on to these websites.

Information Technology (IT): Network and Email Accounts

To set up your UMMS network account and email account, complete the Account Request Application (download form pdficon) and submit to Information Technology. Call
508-856-8643 or submit to Account information must be obtained (with a valid UMMS ID badge) from the UMMS Helpdesk, University Campus first floor.

Parking & Access Control (ID Badge)

To get your ID badge and join the parking program, new UMMS faculty and clinical faculty located on the University campus should visit the UMMS Parking and Access Control Office, level 1 of the West Parking Garage, University Campus or call 508-856-5934

Clinical faculty located on the Memorial and Hahnemann campuses should visit the UMass Memorial Campus ID Badge and Parking office or call 508-334-6546

Human Resources

Faculty Profiles (Faculty Directory)

Faculty Profiles shows traditional faculty directory information, and is a research networking and expertise mining software tool for faculty - illustrating how each person is connected to others in the broad research community. An individual profiles page is set up for each faculty member on hire. New faculty should add a description of their professional activities, photograph, and other information. Further details are available on the IT website.
