On Aug. 3, UMass Medical School today unveiled a refreshed look and feel for the UMMS home page and the news website, now called UMassMed News. Vice Chancellor for Communications Jennifer Berryman said the new look is part of an update of the Medical School’s institutional brand identity and style, part of a portfolio of communication tools that help showcase UMMS as a world-class destination and hub for biomedical research, education and public service.

UMassMed News publishes daily news and feature stories photos and videos about faculty, students, research, educational programs and developments at UMMS. A new UMassMed News series called “Student Spotlight” also debuted today, focused on stories about the students in the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, the Graduate School of Nursing and the School of Medicine.

A downloadable UMMS brand identity and style guide is available on to the UMMS intranet so that members of the UMMS community can find tools and templates to use in support of the unified look and feel of logos, colors, typography and graphics.
