UMass Medical School is once again supporting the Worcester Public School winter clothing drive for students in grades K through 12. The UMMS collection further supports the North Quadrant Support Services initiative launched in 2017 to address socioeconomic barriers to academic success faced by many Worcester Public Schools students.
Donations of new coats, fleece jackets, sweatshirts (no hoods), boots, hats and mittens in sizes from XS to XXXL are requested. Also welcome are Burlington Coat Factory gift cards that teachers can direct to specific class members, particularly older ones, according to their specific needs.
