A photography exhibit showcasing the work of Lisa Bezokas is the latest installment of the Lamar Soutter Library’s Artist in Residence Series. Simplicity will be on display Jan. 10 through Feb. 27 on the first floor of the library. Bezokas works for the Department of Animal Medicine at UMMS.
Bezokas’ love of photography was inspired by the words of Vincent Van Gogh, who said “If you truly love nature, you will find beauty everywhere.” Whether taking a picture of a cardinal resting on a branch or sunlight on a cherry blossom, she looks beyond the initial simplicity of an image to really observe what nature offers.
