UMass Medical School regularly updates and enhances our email security systems. These essential updates reduce the number of dangerous and misleading emails delivered to your Inbox. Unfortunately, a recent email security enhancement resulted in legitimate email being sent to the Junk Email folder in Microsoft Outlook for many users. Important Medical School messages that utilize outside email services may have been sent to your Junk Email folder. These include emails from the Office of Advancement, Human Resources and ICIMS (recruiting). Please take the time to review your Junk Email folder in Outlook. If you notice emails that you do not consider as junk email, you can recategorize them as ‘Not Junk’. Future emails from that sender will go to your Inbox. Also, please feel free to forward those emails to the IT Help Desk at helpdesk@umassmed.edu.
