Virtual HYPE Career Development Courses for Young Adults in Massachusetts!
What is HYPE?
Helping Youth on the Path to Employment (HYPE) provides flexible, solution-focused, career-oriented services based on your needs and preferences. HYPE is focused on Young Adults between the ages of 18-30 who live with the effects of mental health conditions (MHC). HYPE includes but is not limited to:
- Helping to understand school, career, and work interests
- Working with Young Adults to plan out career aspirations using SMART goals
- Focusing on education as a means to achieve their goals
- Giving Young Adults the necessary tools/ skills to be successful after high school
- Offering strategies for lasting habits that will aid success through school and work
Is the HYPE course right for me?
The HYPE Course is an adaptation of HYPE, the Helping Youth on the Path to Employment model. The new Virtual HYPE course offering is aimed at meeting the career preparation needs of young adults with mental health conditions and may be offered virtually or in person.
There are 3 HYPE Courses: HYPE Career Decisions, HYPE Work Prep, and HYPE School Prep. The topics covered by the courses are listed below.

HYPE Virtual Courses: How does it work?
Young adults can attend the Virtual HYPE Courses from the comfort of their own homes! Courses will be offered via a secured zoom link, once a week for about 1.5 hours. Participants will receive all materials virtually as well is in a hard copy form. All materials are free to participants.
