I said yes to UMass for a few reasons. First is because of the unique opportunity to share the campus with the medical and PhD students. Second, when I came to an info session for the GSN I had the opportunity to meet some of the faculty members and I immediately saw and felt the support that is talked about by current students in the program.  The thing I am looking forward to the most is getting to know my cohort and to see and learn about all of the opportunities and fields of practice that are available to us.

My first impressions of UMass Medical School Graduate School of Nursing were impeccable. I said yes because I was drawn to the cohesive learning atmosphere between the School of Medicine, School of Biomedical Sciences, and School of Nursing. I was highly pleased with the amount of resources and support offered to students and felt immediately welcomed even through the interviewing process. I believe that UMass Medical School Graduate School of Nursing will provide a competitive and supportive learning environment for me and will groom me into a well-rounded Nurse Practitioner.  I am most looking forward to clinical rotations and being a part of a team in which I will be working among and learning from some of the best in the industry.

I chose UMass Medical GSN for multiple reasons! Some of these reasons include having the opportunity to gain my Doctorate degree at a rigorous school with a great reputation both at the school and the hospital. I was also drawn to this school since it is close to home and has been familiar to me ever since I can remember growing up next door to it. What I am looking forward to the most is starting this new daunting yet exciting chapter of my life with other students who share the same passion as me to help others.

I said Yes to UMASS Medical school GSN for many reasons. One I choose UMASS because of a friend who previously attended the program and spoke highly about the faculty, and how supportive the program is to helping students succeed. Two, the NCLEX pass rate for UMASS GSN program proved to me that being part of this program would help me succeed in my academics and my career. I also choose UMASS because it was cost friendly and the campus is beautiful.  I am looking forward to clinicals and learning some hands-on experience of working with patients

I said yes to the DNP program because I know that the faculty goes above and beyond to make sure students have all the resources they need to succeed and the UMass Med environment encourages me to do so.
