Writing Accountability Groups

The GSBS hosts Writing Accountability Groups (WAGs) each semester, with the goal of supporting GSBS trainees to meet their writing goals.

WAG Overview

• A WAG is a peer-facilitated, active accountability group that meets once a week for 1 hour over the span of 8-12 weeks
• Each weekly session follows the same structure:
• 15 minutes: updates and goal-setting
• 30 minutes: writing
• 15 minutes: writing goals for the next 7 days
• Open to all GSBS trainees at all levels (students and postdocs welcome!)
• Focused on developing the process and habit of writing
• Limited to 4-8 members per group
• You must commit to attend at least 80% of the sessions for the semester
