Future plans: My interests include trauma, acute care surgery, global surgery, surgical systems building, and health policy.

Why UMASS?: I fell in love with the program when I met the residents - I knew these were “my people.” Since coming here, they have truly become my family! I was looking for a program at an academic Level I Trauma Center, that offered global surgery opportunities and strong training, all in a great place to live. UMass satisfies all of that!

Favorite thing to do in Worcester: Be outdoors! I love all of the local spots for hiking and kayaking.
