The iSPARC (Implementation Science and Practice Advances Research Center) is a part of the UMass Chan Medical School's Department of Psychiatry

We are a Massachusetts Department of Mental Health (DMH) Center of Excellence for Public Mental Health Services and Implementation Research that aims to improve the mental and behavioral health of all citizens of Massachusetts and beyond. iSPARC is committed to transferring knowledge and insights gained through rigorous research to improve the lives of people with lived mental health experience.

We conduct Participatory Action Research, an all-inclusive approach that ensures that every aspect of our research incorporates the voices of those with lived mental health experience.

The National Collaborative for Implementation Support

We have two full-time hybrid Implementation Support Specialist I roles available. The ideal candidates will have 1 year of professional experience in planning activities, teamwork, communication, and collaboration. Be empathetic, and curious, have strong critical thinking skills, be committed to change initiatives, be committed to advancing equity in implementation efforts, and embrace cross-disciplinary approaches. Transitions Adulthood Center for Research

Administrative Assistant II: This part-time hybrid role will serve the administrative needs of the various research programs with the Transitions to Adulthood Center for Research. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and detail-oriented and have experience processing and tracking invoices, payments, and requisitions, reallocating purchases, and managing complex calendar requests.

Social Media Specialist: This part-time hybrid role will be responsible for the development and oversight of Transitions to Adulthood Center for Research's social media (Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, and YouTube Channels). The ideal candidate will have experience with social media marketing to youth and young adults, as well as a thorough knowledge of social media accessibility best practices, and podcast, video, and graphic creation.
