Raajveer Singh Sokhi
Automation Engineer InternYear: 2023
Raajveer Singh Sokhi
Hello, everyone! I'm Raaj, and I'm currently a senior at UMass Amherst pursuing a degree in Computer Science. Although I was born in the US, I was raised in India for the most part. I love exploring new technologies and how they can be integrated with art to create good products. Automation is one of my interests because I believe it has the potential to simplify both the lives of end-users and the development process itself. By automating repetitive tasks, we can shift our focus towards improving the end-user experience of a product.
In my free time, I often listen to a lot of music. I find that it influences my creativity, and I draw inspiration from it. In fact, I’m listening to "Too Many Nights" by Don Toliver while writing this. Lastly, to end on a fun note, I am currently the VP/co-captain of a collegiate dance team called UMass Jazba!
Grateful to have had this opportunity, and I'm excited to work with everybody!
