Qingbo Chen Joins the Lab as a Senior Research Scientist

Qingbo Chen joined the lab in January 2022 as a Senior Research Scientist after completing a successful postdoc in the Molecular, Cell, and Cancer Biology (MCCB) Center at UMass Chan. After completing his undergraduate studies in Wuhan, China, he did his graduate work and earned his PhD at the Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences. His first postdoctoral research position was at Shanghai Ruijin Hospital, before he arrived at UMass Chan Medical School in 2015.
He will be working on cellular mechanisms by which fat cells (adipocytes) adapt to dietary and environmental stress.
