Pharmacoepidemiology

Faculty at UMass Chan Medical School are dedicated to advancing the health of pharmacoepidemiology, including such areas as drug utilization research, comparative effectiveness, and comparative safety. The International Society of Pharmacoepidemiology defines pharmacoepidemiology as “the science that applies epidemiologic approaches to studying the use, effectiveness, value and safety of pharmaceuticals”.
