Q-Derm

Our Grand Rounds, fondly termed “QDerm” after the Quinsigamond Dermatological Society which started in Worcester, is held one Wednesday evening per month. There is a guest lecturer who speaks to the residents and rotators from 4:30-5:30 p.m. From 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. there is patient viewing, which is followed by case discussion and a guest lecture from 6:30-8 p.m. UMass Chan dermatology faculty, residents, medical students, rotating residents and local dermatologists attend the meeting. Three to six patients are brought to Grand Rounds to discuss diagnostic challenges, treatment options and for educational interest. This is currently being held on a virtual platform.
