Weight Management Assistance Available for People Living with Diabetes

Healthy eating and physical activity may significantly reduce the risk of diabetes in overweight individuals.  Our Diabetes Center of Excellence team of endocrinologists, dietitians, nutritionists and health psychologists will assess your individual situation and create an appropriate self-management plan.

Nina Rosano, MD 
is an endocrinologist who specializes in Obesity Medicine. She works together with primary care physicians, nutritionists and behavioral psychologists, who understand obesity and utilize the vast UMass Diabetes Center of Excellence resources to treat it. With an emphasis on personalized care and scientific evidence-based approaches, they create a unique, meaningful and sustainable treatment plan for each individual.
