Dedicated to the fidelity and integrity of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction

CommonGood is a vibrant affiliate network of the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society at the University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS). CommonGood affiliates comprise an international cohort of public institutions and private organizations committed to the relief of suffering and the forwarding of human flourishing. The central aims of CommonGood are:

  • advancing the integrity and fidelity of MBSR
  • supporting the development of MBSR Centers of Excellence committed to integrity, fidelity, teacher competency assessment and evidence-based research
  • advancing unity within the global MBSR community

Affiliation Levels

CommonGood currently offers three affiliation levels. At each level, affiliates are authorized to offer CFM MBSR professional education (teacher training) courses as indicated below. 

Affiliation fees start at $3,000 (US $) with a 20% revenue share per year.

Together, these platforms provide the infrastructure for a vibrant community of CommonGood affiliates and create a firm foundation for the development of MBSR Centers of Excellence.

CommonGood partners benefit directly from the CFM's international credibility, and in turn, join together in creating a reciprocal, mutually beneficial relationship through this network.
