About Us

The goal of the Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement (QA/QI) Program is to enhance the quality of human research and to support the improvement of human research protections at the University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS).

The QA/QI team works with investigators, research staff, and the Institutional Review Board (IRB) to ensure research is compliant with regulations, guidance, institutional policies, and best practices for human research protections.

The HRPP Education Program offers training and education to individuals involved in human research at UMMS.
