Curriculum Development Fund
The Office of Undergraduate Medical Education (OUME) Curriculum Development Fund is a resource to promote the development of new curricular innovations and or course enhancements in undergraduate medical education. Priority is given to curricular innovations directly supporting the UMMS Medical Education Competencies and Learner-centered Integrated Curriculum (LInC) design and implementation, and integration of courses and disciplines (MD, PhD, behavioral, clinical).
Curriculum Development Funds are available only to undergraduate medical education course directors or their designees. Faculty teaching within a course can apply with approval of the relevant course director(s). Proposals are reviewed on a rolling basis from November 2 to March 1. Requests are submitted on standard application form to the Curriculum Development Fund Review Committee.
