Funding Sources

Research funding services (RFS) maintains information on federal and private funding sources including standard guidelines and application materials. Information on the NIH, NSF and other sponsors are available in the office and here on our website under Funding Opportunities .

RFS provides assistance in identifying potential sources of funding using selected resources including the NIH Guide as well as other publications. RFS also subscribes to the Community of Science (COS), a comprehensive computer database of funding opportunities and other research related information.  To learn more about finding funding opportunities with COS through interactive videos, training materials and other helpful FAQ's, please click here.

To expedite the distribution of funding opportunities and policy updates, RFS has established an electronic mailing list that includes faculty and administrators. The list is used to distribute the NIH Guide for Grants and Contracts, the National Science Foundation Bulletin, announcements from the Federal Register and other important research related announcements. Please contact RFS, if you wish to be added to the list.
