Medical Student Mentored by Dr. Allison recognized by Society of Behavioral Medicine

Michael Richardson, a medical student at UMMS, and a mentee of Dr. Jeroan Allison, has been recognized by the Society of Behavioral Medicine for an abstract submission entitled, “Weight-based Discrimination and Medication adherence: Mediation by Trust in Physicians and Patient Self-efficacy.” The submission will be recognized as a Meritorious Student Abstract and it will be presented at a poster session at the Society of Behavioral Medicine’s 22rd Annual Meeting in April, 2012.
