Mission Statement

The mission of the University of Massachusetts Medical School Purchasing Department is to aid (assist) in the process of acquiring goods and services while upholding the ethical standards, laws and regulations of the University and the Commonwealth.

 

Walk to Cure Cancer (New)

This year we have joined the Financial Services team, raising funds to help in the fight against cancer as part of the Walk to Cure Cancer, a five-mile walkathon around Lake Quinsigamond on Sunday, September 13, 2009. All proceeds from the Walk to Cure Cancer will support cancer research at the UMass Medical School in conjunction with the UMass Memorial Cancer Center in Worcester.

There are a couple options that you could help us reach our goal. You could sponsor us (please make checks payable to the Walk to Cure Cancer). You can mail your donation directly to UMASS, 333 South Street, Shrewsbury MA 01545 Attn. Financial Services/Lisa Kane. Or you can make your donation online right on our website for the Walk to Cure Cancer at http://www.firstgiving.com/fs2009.
