Addressing Personal Wellness Is Important
Good health means maintaining a healthy weight, eating nutritious foods, exercising, balancing home and work commitments, not using tobacco and seeing your doctor for preventive screenings. Taking these steps will help to increase your energy, boost your immune system, help improve your mood, build/tone muscles, and prevent disease. Taking control of your health gives you the best chance of living a long, rewarding life.
Your personal wellness also benefits your patients/clients. People that engage in healthy behaviors are more likely to encourage/counsel others to do the same. Patients/clients are also more likely to follow the advice if given by someone that engages in the healthy behavior.
