MDCCC Referral Services
The MDCCC offers the following referral services that may be a part of individualized consultative treatment recommendations in addition to medication recommendations when indicated:
- Psychotherapies
- Neuromodulation research and treatment
- Inpatient and outpatient Electroconvulsive Treatment (ECT) services at UMMMC
- Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS) registry (voluntary research study for interested individuals)
- Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)
- Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) (voluntary research study for interested individuals with treatment-resistant depression)
- Complementary/Integrative medicine (mind-body medicine) services including:
- Wellness programs through the Department of Medicine/Division of Preventative and Behavioral Medicine including the Center for Applied Nutrition and associated clinical and research programs
- The Stress Reduction Program offered through the UMass Chan Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care and Society
- Meditation and spirituality programs though the UMass Chan Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care and Society and the Department of Psychiatry
- Education, rehabilitation and recovery – referrals to community mental health services
- Partial Hospitalization Services at UMMMC
